Congratulations Rachel and Scott!

Rachel and Scott are the cutest couple! They were up to try anything, including braving the rain to get their wedding photos. Their wedding was fantastic, but this is just a sneak peek of their private session after the reception. Your photos will be in an online private gallery for viewing at my new Web site! I'll call you with the password as soon as they are ready.
Meanwhile, everyone go check out my new site. It has dual sides, one for portrait work and one for weddings. I still have a lot of bugs to work out, text to repair and more images to add. But I am so proud of it!
I won it in a contest from Bludomain! So awesome! I had to send in a photo for one of their many contests. Guess what I won with? A photo of my couch!!

Well, I'm off to get a few hours of sleep before a regular workday. If I don't post, it's not that I'm a bad blogger, just a busy photographer!

Father's Day, Family, First Birthday

Tina and Mike, here is another sneak peek at some more of the images. This was pretty neat getting to photograph so many special events all in one session...I almost titled this entry "Featuring Andy!" Your little guy is so cute! I'll get some of the birthday images up tomorrow. Thank you again for letting me capture such great moments.

Weddings, Patriotism and more!

Well, no one nibbled at the Friday Foto special I offered, but that's OK! I have plenty of other photo-related tasks to deal with this week. I am booked on Saturday for a family session in the morning on location and a birthday party in the afternoon. I'm also deep in design as I work on a wedding album from a wedding I shot last fall. I'm so excited to get into the creative part of this business. I'm so lucky to have people who let me photograph their most treasured moments and then to come back and ask me to do more with those photos. WOW! Thank you! And of course, when I'm in these 'creative overdrives,' I tend to be bursting with high energy. Exactly how did you put that Tina?! LOL Can't wait to see you and your little guy on Saturday!
Along with these CO's - I get all kinds of ideas racing. I'll soon be changing the appearance of my studio downtown. I'm keeping it for awhile longer, but you'll see some changes even if you drive down the street and just glance at it.

And now is the time to book your Patriotic Portrait Session! This is a Limited Edition 1-day only event! It will be July 4, which is a Wednesday. Reserved sessions only. If you are interested, please e-mail me or call me for the details. I'll be posting some images I shot last year using the American flag, but I can promise you it will be even better this year. Still simple, but not something to miss! There is an additional surprise backdrop for those who reserve their session for this great day.

Em and Krys

I love photographing these two sisters. They are so much fun and their mom helps quite a bit. Both girls graduated this year, Em from high school and Krys from college. Since they will soon be moving, this may be the last time I get to photograph them until their weddings!

I'm half finished with your session and was going along quite well today on it when I just kept getting sicker and sicker. It's one of those blasted colds that keeps your eyes watering and everything. I took some alka seltzer tablets since that was all I had in the house and it is starting to wear off so I'll be heading to bed soon.
If anyone is waiting on anything, please be patient with me! It may be another day or two before I get around to calling you.
